Create Trust with Quality Event Graphics

Throughout my career I’ve worked with many non-profits on their fund-raising efforts.

For some, this is a yearly event aimed at honoring their key donors while outreaching to new ones. This is an opportunity for the organization to highlight the impact of their efforts.

For many organizations, this annual event is a gala with a unique theme that is carried through the evening or weekend. For some, this annual event looks more like a small conference with speakers brought in to discuss key struggles in their industry and how to overcome them.

INTERNATIONAL GROUP OF APOLOGISTS ANNUAL FUNDRAISING EVENT

This organization was started as a means to intelligently engage in questions of origin, meaning, morality and destiny. Their donor-base was highly academic and accustomed to high-class quality products and events. Their brand needed to reflect this classy touch and mature persona.

Every year they held an event inviting their founders and key donors as a way to thank them for their commitment and to celebrate the past year. For them, this event took place over a couple days. A unique theme was established that was then applied to everything including save the dates, invitations, rsvp cards, weekend programs, annual reports, and even menu cards.

For several years, I partnered with this organization to brand this event. In celebration of the ministry’s twenty-fifth anniversary, the leadership decided on the theme, Growing to Full Stature. I chose to illustrate this theme as pieces contributing to a whole tree—that every element and event in our lives serves to create an elegant tapestry for His glory. The pattern of individual elements takes on an organic display almost like vines, branches, and leaves. Silver inks and pearlescent metallic papers were used throughout in symbolic representation of the twenty-fifth anniversary.

NO LONGER BOUND ANNUAL DINNER

No Longer Bound is an addiction-recovery organization that helps men battling drug and alcohol addiction regenerate their lives through clinical therapy, medically supervised residential care, as well as vocational training and employment. Every year they hold a fund-raising banquet. Changed is the theme reflected below, representing the transformation their men go through.

40th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

In celebration of Perimeter Church’s fortieth anniversary, the creative team reserved the local arena and set out to plan a weekend full of surprises for the church’s founding families as well as current church members. The look and feel of the celebration that spanned several days, was to be epic in its proportion while also exciting and celebratory.

DREAMING DREAMS AND SEEING VISIONS

In stark contrast to the previous year’s grandeur, 2010’s theme of Dreaming Dreams and Seeing Visions took place in Naples, Florida with a more fun, light-hearted nature reflected in its use of bright, energetic colors and simple graphic elements.

WEDDING INVITATION

A classic design to exude elegance on a shoe-string budget, this invitational wedding kit includes a hand-drawn illustration of the bride’s grandmother’s oil lamp carried from the invitation to the day-of program. The bridesmaids carried similar lamps in remembrance of all the relatives who had passed away prior.
