Brand Strategy and Design

Using brand strategy and design to connect people who care to causes that matter.

What’s the state of your brand?

Are you attracting the wrong customer?

Have you inherited an outdated brand?

Do you need internal team alignment?

I use psychology-based design to influence these decisions to attract your ideal audience allowing your organization to have more impact and grow.

Strategic Branding Specialist

Hi, I’m Jen. I exist to help purpose-driven organizations create champions for their brand so they can change the world. In partnering with these organizations, I leverage design to solve business problems. Before I start working on any visual needs your organization has, let’s get really clear on who you are, why you exist, what makes you different, and how to position yourself to achieve your goals.

Why me?

End-to-end Execution

Unlike some brand strategists, I have two decades of experience as a designer. I understand how strategic thinking is visually implemented into a logo, website, and digital presence. I implement our plan.

One-on-one Interaction

I’m not an agency with several layers of communication. We may have a project manager to keep us on track, but you’ll otherwise be working directly with me.

Women-owned Business

As a woman, I understand what it’s like to juggle all the things: business growth, kids, family, dentist appointments. Let’s tackle this dream of yours one piece at a time with courage, empathy, and compassion.

The process we’ll take to get there:

Whether you think you need a brochure, a new logo, or a new website, the process is the same. I start with strategic thinking, discovering why you exist—what is the problem you exist to solve, who you are trying to reach, and how we position you uniquely in the marketplace to grow your tribe.

01

Discovery

We start with strategic thinking, discovering why you exist—what is the problem you exist to solve, who you are trying to reach, how we position you uniquely in the marketplace to grow your tribe, as well as who you’re up against. This can take place in person or virtual.

02

Analysis

After uncovering the core of who your organization is, I analyze what we’ve discovered to determine the steps forward. Maybe you need a rebrand after all. Maybe your website isn’t converting because you’re saying the wrong message. This stage gives us those insights for how to proceed.

03

Design

This phase gives us the visual development of the work we done from the previous two phases. This may include the logo process, web wireframe and design process, or laying out your print collateral. Where does your brand need to be implemented? Social media branding? These are executed in this phase.

04

Launch

Once the brand has been articulated and designed, it’s time to implement those new avatars, launch the new website and tell everyone about it! This phase may also include sending the files off to the printer or uploading all the final logo files to easily referenced online storage.

You’ll be in good company

Here’s a sampling of the companies who’ve utilized my design.

We partner with:

  • Non-profit Leaders

Who want to clarify their cause to attract champions that will not only donate their time, money, and resources but will enthusiastically tell others to do the same.

  • Visionaries

Who have a bold, world-changing idea that needs refining to articulate to a broken world along with a brand identity that attract raving fans.

  • Ministry Leaders

Who are called by God to minister to others. These leaders are brave visionaries who value branding but are so consumed with meeting the cause that they’ve neglected positioning, differentiation, etc.

  • Startups

Who have been around long enough to realize elevating their organization requires a unique, well-defined message using design assets that attract investors.

What People Are Saying

“Jen's deliverables are spot on because she digs into the problems she is working to solve through design…she works to create an end product that will serve the short and long-term needs of the client.”
